OFFICIAL PRIDE CAMPSITE

6th – 9th August 2021

Nothing beats spending Pride weekend under the stars as you immerse yourself in a Pride experience filled with fun, laughter and celebrations and it’s the best way to make Pride weekend financially accessible to all visitors. The Brighton Pride Camp Camp is always filled with an amazing celebratory atmosphere and now the Pride Festival in Preston Park is a 2 day event, why not stay from Friday to Monday to make it a 3 day weekend?

Children aged 12 and under are welcome to attend with you, providing they are under constant supervision. Their presence won’t contribute to the total occupancy of your booking but be aware of the living space your have and whether you will be comfortable enough. Young people aged over 12 will be included in your booking fee and again have to be supervised by a responsible adult over 21 at all times.

There will be a dedicated Pride bus service between the Pride Campsite and the city throughout the weekend. Bus passes are available below. There is ample parking onsite (must be pre-booked) to make it easier to get to the campsite and set up your pitch.

Private showers can be booked below.

Please read terms and conditions before booking as all sales are final and once booking is confirmed we are unable to offer refunds. Any changes to your booking will incur an additional admin charge. If you have any questions, please check our support pages via the orange help box in the bottom right hand corner, or email campsite@brighton-pride.org

Pride Campsite, Waterhall Road, Brighton BN1 8YR. Check-in opens 12 noon Friday 6th August 2021.

Pride 2021 – UPDATE

We know the need for community has never been stronger and Brighton & Hove Pride is one of Europe’s biggest Pride Festivals attracting thousands of people from across the UK to attend multiple events across the city including the Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade.

Delivering Pride requires an all year-round planning cycle working closely with our partner agencies and, while the vaccine rollout continues to be successful, the many uncertainties that need to be resolved to safely deliver mass gatherings and the complexities of organising Pride in our City are impossible to achieve in the time we have, so based on the best information available to us at this time we are heartbroken to have to cancel for a second year. We cannot risk the health and safety of Pride visitors, residents and the hundreds of staff and volunteers that help deliver Pride.

We will continue our plans for smaller in-person satellite pop up community and cultural events throughout the summer and autumn as part of our cultural programme that can run within COVID-safe guidelines as well as a programme of on-line events following on from the success of last year. Sign up to our Newsletter and we’ll let you know more.

As ever, a huge thank you to all of you for your support, patience and positivity. We’re so, truly sorry that we won’t be able to come together this year but, rest assured, we will be back stronger and better in 2022!
